The weekend was very nice - it was so good to get away for a little while and see new sites and sights. My friend has promised to email some of the photos she took - maybe I'll get them posted up.
I wish I could have stayed for the Veggie Pride Festival in NYC. I understand there was to be a wedding between a Mr. Carrot and some other garden inhabitant, and that the theme for the parade is "Give Peas A Chance."
You've gotta love it.

Sounds like you had a wonderful wedding; too bad you couldn't have stayed for the wedding.
Oh...you've got me laughing over the Veggie Peaceniks..shades of 1965 and only in New York! I once had an old WWII Artillery Helmet (heavy sucker) painted it white drilled holes in the side, put chains through it to hang it, painted Make Love Not War with Flowers and then planted flowers in it...it really looked cool. Oh to be 22 again thinking you can solve the worlds problems...lol. Glad you had a good vacation....love, Sandi
You tickled my fancy with the wedding description. Someone
as whimsical as I came up with that idea. I am glad you had
a good break. Helps so much to get away now and then.
And good to get back home, too. blessings, Pat
And from that silliness comes a desire to do something more! It sounds like you had a great time. Have a wonderful week.
Smiles, Leigh
Ha, that does sound great. Most of us could use more veggies, and peas, in our life.
That festival sounds fun. Too bad you couldn't have stayed but at least you got away. Be looking for the pictures. Paula
That sounds cool!
