Wow, that was intense. I can't believe the horsecrap that the insurance agencies are allowed to get away with. I had a breast tumor cut out in 1962 when I was 18 years old and I spent seven full days in recovery...and still went home with drains in me. And in pain for weeks after. Thank God it wasn't cancerous. I was lucky. They also used to keep you for at least five days when you had a baby, longer if it was ceasarian. I'm angry, this is crap - for a bill to be hung up for twelve years cause it doesn't have a pair of balls attached to it? I'm going to write letters too, and probably write about it in my blog also. Glad you posted this...be well..Sandi
While I was allowed less than 24 hours in the yhospital with my newborn child after childbirth, this is not good, either. People need care and deserve it.
